The Ashcroft Sullivan Economic Development Center

Overview

The Ashcroft Sullivan Economic Development Center (“ASEDC”) is a designated EB-5 Regional Center. The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (“USCIS“) approved the ASEDC in November 2015. As an EB-5 Regional Center, our service is to assist EB-5 applicants with their application process and investment.

As a Federally designated regional center, our mission is to create new jobs in the New England regions, expand economic productivity, and help foreign entrepreneurs obtain permanent residency for themselves and their families.

Ashcroft Sullivan Economic Development Center collect and distribute EB-5 program job creation credits (both direct and indirect credits) to our participating foreign entrepreneurs to support their immigrant visa requirements. These job credits derive from our qualifying investments in real estate and private equity projects. Our projects are in New England.

Our Commitment

Ashcroft Sullivan Economic Development Center

The U.S. government designates regional centers to receive EB-5 investor capital and develop projects that promote regional economic growth and job creation. The Ashcroft Sullivan Economic Development Center (“ASEDC” or “Regional Center”) received federal approval as a regional center in November 2015.

Ashcroft Sullivan Economic Development Center intends to offer qualifying investments in opportunistic, high-quality real estate and private equity projects for its EB-5 investors.

Approved Geography

The Ashcroft Sullivan Economic Development Center approved New England counties: Bristol County, Norfolk County, Plymouth County, and Providence County.

Within the ASEDC geographic limits, it will focus on projects in Target Employment Areas (“TEA“). TEAs allow immigrant entrepreneurs to place $800,000 to create ten full-time direct or indirect jobs instead of the customary $1,050,000 for placement outside of a TEA.

The combined value of finding opportunities located both inside the Regional Center and inside TEA provides both:

  1. direct and indirect job credit; and
  2. a lowered investment threshold to $800,000 for the entrepreneur.
